Technocrat ministers, advisors resign from cabinet

All technocrat ministers and advisers to the prime minister have submitted their resignations from the cabinet.
The resignations, totaling two ministers, one state minister, and six advisers, were officially communicated to the Cabinet Division on Sunday.
The cabinet members who have tendered their resignations are: Mustafa Jabbar, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications; Architect Yeafesh Osman, Minister of Science and Technology; and Dr. Shamsul Alam, Minister of State for Planning.
Additionally, Dr Gauhar Rizvi, Salman F Rahman, Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Dr. Tawfiq-e-Elahi Chowdhury, and Sajib Wazed Joy stepped down from their position as advisors to the prime minister.
Technocrat ministers are individuals who, not being elected members of parliament, are appointed to the cabinet based on special considerations by the government.
