2 people arrested with cocktail making equipment in Ishwardi

In RAB-12’s operation, 2 people were arrested with cocktail and bomb making equipment. The news was reported in a press briefing of RAB-12 on Wednesday (November 15) afternoon. The arrested are Abdul Awal Kabir (38), son of deceased Abdul Wahab of Ishwardi New Colony, a joint member of Ishwardi Upazila Volunteer Party, and Sarwar Jahan Shishir (33), son of Habibur Rahman of Nurmahalla area of No. 4 ward of the municipality. Several tools for making cocktails and petrol bombs were also seized.
RAB-12 Pabna Company Commander and Additional Superintendent of Police Ghulam Farooq said that based on secret information, Abdul Awal Kabir asked his party associates to gather on the paved road near Aronkola cow market on Wednesday to enforce the blockade. In support of the blockade, they jointly planned to terrorize the public by picketing, vandalizing cars and bursting bombs/cocktails on the Dashuria highway.
