Inter Milan extended their winning streak to six matches across all competitions with a 2-0 triumph over Frosinone in Serie A on Sunday, featuring a remarkable lob by Federico Dimarco.
Fresh off their UEFA Champions League victory against RB Salzburg, which secured their spot in the last-16 with two games to spare, Inter showed dominance in Sunday’s match. However, it wasn’t until the 43rd minute that they broke the deadlock in spectacular fashion.
Dimarco, seizing the ball from the center circle and noticing Frosinone goalkeeper Stefano Turati off his line, expertly executed a lob that arched beautifully into the corner.
The lead was doubled shortly after halftime when Marcus Thuram was fouled in the box, winning a penalty. Hakan Calhanoglu confidently converted the spot-kick, consolidating Inter’s advantage.
