Work-oriented education for ethnic minority youths stressed

Work-oriented education and training can be the best way of making the ethnic minority young men and women self-reliant coupled with worthy citizens.
There is also a need to provide stipend to support the ongoing educational activities of the ethnic minority students.
The observation came in the 41st executive council meeting of the Rajshahi Divisional Ethnic Minority Cultural Academy (RDEMCA) held at the office conference hall of Divisional Commissioner on Sunday. With Divisional Commissioner and RDEMCA President Dr Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir in the chair, the meeting was addressed by Deputy Director Kolyan Chowdhury executive and research officer Benjamin Tudu and Research Assistant Muhammad Shajahan.
Council members Akbarul Hassan Millat, Subadh Chandra Mahato, Monwara Parveen, Shelly Pricilla Biswash and Shesen Shyam Duar also spoke on the occasion.
