Fakirhat youth dies of drowning

A youth named Md. Mostafa Molla (18) was drowned in a pond in Betaga-Chatakpur village under Fakirhat Upazila in Bagerhat district on Monday. The ill-fated youth was the son of one late Nazrul Islam of Bilkul-Kathaltala area under Kachua Upazila in the same district. It is learnt from the police and the locals that the youth came to the village in order to pay a visit to his maternal uncle’s residence (in the village) and on the day of the occurrence he went the pond to take bathe.
