Maldives CJ observes trial proceedings at SC

Maldives Chief Justice Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan, who came to Bangladesh to attend the closing ceremony of the Golden Jubilee of the Constitution and the Supreme Court (SC), on Sunday observed the trial proceedings at the court.

He observed the proceedings at the High Court Division first and then at the Appellate Division. At 11:30 am on the day, he appeared in the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan and observed the proceedings for about half an hour.

Appellate Division judges, Justice Borhanuddin, Justice M Enayetur Rahim andJustice Md Ashfaqul Islam were also present at the Appellate Division bench at that time.

Earlier on Saturday, Maldives Chief Justice Ahmed Muthasim attended the closing ceremony of the GoldenJubilee of the Constitution and the Supreme Court.
