Workers die after ‘inhaling toxic gas’inside septic tank in Faridpur

Workers died allegedly after inhaling toxic gas inside a septic of an under-construction building in Faridpur town on Saturday.

The deceased were Sayem Musulli,20, son of late Rashed Musulli of Kosha Gopalpur village of Kanaipur union of Faridpur Sadar upazila and Akram Hossain Babu, 55, son of Sattar Mia of Raghunandanpur area of the city.

Sayem Musulli, an assistant of a mason, and a few other workers came to work to open the centering of the septic tank of Jahangir Alam’s six-storey under-construction building in Char Kamalapur area of the town in the morning, locals said.
