Maruf stars of Dhaka Metropolis victory in NCL

A five-wicket haul by Saikat Ali enabled Dhaka Metropolis to post a massive 285-run win over Rajshahi Division in the first round four-day of 16th National Cricket League held on Wednesday at the BKSP ground in Savar.
Chasing a winning target of 359 runs Rajshahi Division resumed their second innings on the last day with overnight score of 101 for 6 and finally dismissed at 174 in 44.4 overs.
Mehedi Maruf of Dhaka Metropolis was named the player of the match.
