3200 opposition men accused in 5 cases in Kishoreganj

At least 3200 BNP led opposition alliance leaders and activists including Kishoreganj District BNP president Sariful Alam have been accused in five cases filed with Kuliarchar and Bhairab police station during the clashes with law enforcement members.
At least two BNP activists were killed in Kuliarchar and a tea shopkeeper died due to tear gas after being injured.
The three cases were filed with Kuliarchar on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Kishoreganj district BNP President Shariful Alam along with 2400 leaders and activists of BNP-Jamaat organs and allied organizations have been accused. The police have so far arrested several BNP men in these cases.
The police filed three separate cases on charges of assault and sabotage on the police with intent to kill during the clash between the BNP -;Jamaat leaders and activists in Kuliachar with the police during the blockade called by the Jamaat -BNP on Tuesday.
After 12 o’clock on Tuesday night, Inspector Tarek Parvez of Kuliarchar police station filed two cases against 1500/1600 people with names of 43 people as plaintiffs.
