Metro rail service to launch with limited service on new Agargaon-Motijheel route

The Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited says trains on the new Agargaon to Motijheel route on the metro rail will offer only limited service to start.
“The metro rail line from Motijheel to Agargaon will only stop at the Motijheel, Secretariat, and Farmgate stations,” DMTCL said in a statement on Tuesday.
“The headway will be 10 minutes.
Train service on the Motijheel to Agargaon section will end after 11:30 pm., reports bdnews24.com.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is set to inaugurate the metro rail MRT Line-6 from Agargaon to Motijheel on Saturday.
The premier inaugurated the Uttara North to Agargaon section of the urban rail line on Dec 28.
It was opened to the general public the following day.
