Abbasuddin Manch, Bhawaya Festival inaugurated in Rangpur

On the occasion of the 122nd birth anniversary of Bhawaya Emperor Abbasuddin Ahmad, Abbasuddin stage was inaugurated and Bhawaya festival was organized at Bhawaya Chatter in Rangpur.

Rangpur Zilla Parishad Chairman Mosaddek Hossain Bablu was present as chief guest at the ceremony at Rangpur New Engineer neighborhood Bhawaya Angan on Friday evening. Retired Additional Secretary Sarkar Mahbub (nephew of Abbasuddin) was the main speaker.

President of Bhawaya Angan Rangpur Division Harun Or Rashid presented the keynote address. Founder and Executive Director of Bhawaya Angan AKM Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Director of Local Government Jilufa Sultana, Additional Police Iftekhar Alam, author Prof Mohammad Shah Alam spoke as special guests.
