Case filed over murder of Constable Parvez

A case was filed yesterday over the murder of police Constable Amirul Islam Parvez the clash between law enforcers and BNP people the capital on Saturday.

The case was filed with Paltan Model Police Station on Sunday.
Confirming the matter, Salahuddin Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Paltan Police Station told the media that legal action will be taken against the accused people after checking the CCTV footage of the incident.

Earlier on Saturday, the policeman was killed when BNP activists locked into violent clashes. The deceased was identified as Amirul Islam Parvez and he was a member of the Counterterrorism Unit of the police.
