Road crash in Ishwardi kills two

Two laborers killed in three-way collision between truck, CNG and shallow engine powered power tiller in Ishwardi. Two people were seriously injured.
The injured have been sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
The accident happened in front of Daffodils business in Charabattala area on Ishwardi-Baneshwar regional road on Wednesday around 6:30 am.
The deceased have been identified as Asan Molla (65) son of Zeher Molla of Old Ishwardi village under Lalpur police station of neighboring Natore district and Jinnat Ali (54) son of Abdul Jalil of South Lalpur village.
The injured are CNG driver Mahabul (32) of Bagha upazila and Malek (30) of Aotapara of Ishwardi.
Police and locals said that around 6:30 in the morning, there was a three-way collision with a shallow engine driven power tiller, CNG and truck carrying chalk in Charabattala area.
Two CNG passengers died on the spot. The CNG driver and another passenger were rescued and taken to Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex in a serious condition and the doctor on duty sent them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for better treatment.
