62 puja mandaps get donation from Bauphal AL leader

Industrialist and Awami League leader Haseeb Alam Talukdar gave financial donation among 62 Puja mandaps at Bauphal upazila in Patuakhali on Sunday on the occasion of Durga Puja, the biggest festival of Hindu religious people.

Haseeb Alam Talukdar, who is hoping for nomination from Awami League in the upcoming general elections, said Bangladesh Awami League is a party that believes in non-communal spirit.

Only Awami League always strives to ensure that people of all religions in the country can perform their rituals in peace and without fear.

Later, on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he extended greetings to all the Hindu religious people of Bauphal.

On behalf of Haseeb Alam Talukdar, Kalishuri Degree College Assistant Professor Sajal Halder, Kalishuri Union Jubo League president Abdul Hai and Ashiq Talukder handed over cash greeting tokens to the president and general Secretary of Puja Celebration Committee of 62 Puja mandaps.
