Noted social worker Jorina Akhter dies

The note social worker of Kishireganj Jorina Akhter passed away on Sunday while undergoing treatment at Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College (SSNIMCH) .

She was 90.

Late Jorina Akhter was the wife of late UP chairman Abul Miah and mother of Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Agriculturist Moshiur Rahman Humayun.

She left behind her nine sons, three daughters, grand songs – daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.

She was sufferings old age complication.

Her namaz-e-janaza was held at Hossionpur College playground on Sunday afternoon.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Jorina Akhter.
