Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan is now fit. Shakib & Co. will play against India in their match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune of India on October 19.
Bangladesh made an auspicious start as the Tigers recorded an easy six-wicket victory over Afghanistan on October 7.
Bangladesh lost to England by 137 runs in their second match on October 10.
The Tigers suffered a eight-wicket defeat against New Zealand on October 13.
Shakib Al Hasan got injury during their match against New Zealand in Chennai of India.
So, it was uncertain that the left-arm ace all-rounder of Bangladesh Shakib can play against India.
But yesterday (Tuesday) Shakib was in a festive mood during the practice session with his teammates at Pune.
After reaching Pune, Shakib and his teammates took two-day recess.
Shakib Al Hasan and his teammates participated in the practice session on Tuesday.
Bangladesh Cricket team began their practice session after playing football.
Shakib took part in that practice session.
After playing football Shakib did batting practice in the net at least 15 minutes.
He batted against the bowling of the spinners in the net. After that, he faced the pacers in the net.
Earlier, Team Director of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Khaled Mahmud Sujon said, ” Shakib’s injury condition is better than previous time.
He is out of pain.
But we cannot finally said Shakib can really perform against India in the match.
He have to perform running between the wickets in the practice session.
We are optimistic that we shall get Shakib in the match-day.
We hope he will play the match against India.”
Bangladesh will meet India in their crucial match on October 19.
There is no alternative for the cricketers to be fit in that match if they return to the winning streak.”
