BAF training plane crashes in Bogura

A training plane of Bangladesh Air Force crashed in Kahalu upazila of Bogura on Sunday afternoon.

The aircraft of PT-6 of BAF crashed during training near Bogura airfield at Boromohar village under Murail union around 1:30 pm, said the Inter-Services Public Relations.

ISPR said there were two pilots onboard the plane but they were unhurt.

According to local residents, the green plane suddenly broke through the trees and landed on the ground.

On hearing the information, people thronged the accident place.

Kahaloo Police Station OC Mahmud Hasan said that Air Force personnel have reached the spot and are continuing the rescue work.

There were two people in that plane including the pilot, OC added.
