World Hand Washing Day celebrated in Kishoreganj

With the motto “Clean hands within your reach”, 20th Hand Washing Day was celebrated in Kishoreganj on Sunday.

The rally and hand washing activities held on the occasion of the 20th Hand Washing Day.

On the occasion of the day organized by Directorate of Public Health Engineering (DPHE) including District Administration brought out a rally in the town.

A discussion meeting was held at local Collectorate Conference room of DC office in Kishoreganj, Md. Abul Kalam Azad attended as chief guest and SP Mohammad Rasel Sheikh, Deputy Secretary in Local Government (LG) Habibur Rahman and Civil Surgeon Dr. Saiful Islam as special guests while Executive Engineer of DPHE Md. Mahabubur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Later, hand washing technique was demonstrated with the students.

In this event, the speakers said, there is no alternative to washing hands to destroy germs.

Everyone should wash their hands after work at the workplace and take food. Hand washing is necessary for health protection.
