Hearing in 11 cases against BNP chief Khaleda deferred

Court proceedings against BNP chief Khaleda Zia in 11 cases, including sedition charges, have been postponed.
On Thursday, a court was scheduled to conduct a hearing regarding the chargesheet in a murder case filed at Jatrabari Police Station and set a date for the framing of charges in 10 other cases, according to Taposh Kumar Pal, an additional public prosecutor.
But Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Asaduzzaman pushed the proceedings back to Nov 13 as Khaleda was unable to appear in court due to illness.
