Son accused of killing father in Ctg held in capital

Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested Shafiqur Rahman Jahangir, the son who dismembered the body of Hasan Ali, a resident of EPZ police station area of Chittagong city.

Daughter-in-law gave statement of dismembering body after killing father-in-law.

He was arrested from Dhaka’s Hazaribagh area on Saturday morning.
Investigation officer (IO) of the case and inspector of PBI Chittagong Metro Unit Eliyas Khan confirmed the arrest.

Arrested Shafiqur Rahman son of deceased Hasan Ali resident of EPZ police station area of Chittagong city.

According to PBI, Shafiqur Rahman was arrested from Dhaka on the basis of secret information.

He was brought to Chittagong on Saturday morning.
Along with him, PBI has started a search operation in the Patenga beach area to recover the severed head of the victim.
