2 held over teen girl violation in Rampal

A teen aged school girl of Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat was gang raped by 3 debauched youths in a watch room known as “Tong Ghar” of a fish farm recently, according a delayed report received here.

According to the complaint, police of Rampal PS conducted a raid at the localities and arrested 2 rapists out 3 within an hour after the incident.

The arrested rapists are Shaikh Rasel Hossain (26), son of one Farhad Hossain of village Gobindapur and Rakib Hossain Sajal (25), son of one Azmal Hossain of village Kalekhaber under the Upazila.

The other rapist who went into hide is Rahmat Ali (20), son of one Mahbubur Rahman of the same Upazila.

In this connection Shariful Islam, maternal uncle of the victim lodged a case with Rampal PS under the Anti Women and Children Repression Act as the plaintiff.
