BFUJ, DUJ demand reinstate Kalerkantho, Daily Sun journalists

BFUJ- Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) have urged the Daily Kalerkantho and the Daily Sun authorities to reinstate over 50 journalists, who have recently been sacked from the dailies illegally.

BFUJ President Omar Faruque and Secretary General Dip Azad and DUJ acting President Manik Lal Ghosh and General Secretary Akhter Hossain made the call in a joint statement on Monday.

The journalist leaders said that the dismissal of journalists during this difficult time of hiking commodity prices has put their families in grave danger.
