PM condoles demise of veteran journo Helal Uddin

Prime Minister Sheikh Hadina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the demise of pro-Liberation War veteran journalist and former president of Chattogram Press Club, Helal Uddin Chowdhury.

In a condolence message, she prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family, reports BSS.

Helal Uddin, Chattogram bureau chief of the national Bengali daily Jai Jai Din, died of cardiac arrest at Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital on Friday evening.
