Eid-e-Miladunnabi observed

The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi was observed in Bagerhat district town and it’s all the nine Upazilas on Sunday marking the day of birth and passing away of Prophet Hazrat Mumammd (sm) with religious festivity and fervour.

On this day in 570, the 12th Rabiul Awal of the Hijri calendar, Muhammad (sm) was born in Makkah with divine blessings and message of peace for man-kind. He also passed away on the same day.

On the occasion Bagerhat district branch of Islamic Foundation, Bangladesh arranged a discussion meeting on the life and works of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (sm) and a Doa Mahfil in its Auditorium.

Besides this, discussions and Doa Mahfils were also held in the different mosques like Bagerhat old Court (Central) mosque, Nagerbz mosque, Mithapukur mosque, Launch Ghat mosque, Rly mosque and educational institutions of the district town and its nine Upazilas.

Sr. Staff Reporter from Kishoreganj adds: The Eid-e-Miladunnabi, marking the birth and demise of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was observed in Kishoreganj district on Thursday as elsewhere across the country with due religious fervor and solemnity.

On this day in 570, the 12th of Rabiul Awal of the Hijri calendar, Prophet aDV ADC ( (SM) was born in Makkah of Saudi Arabia with divine blessings and messages of peace for mankind. He also passed away on the same day.

Marking the day,. Islamic Foundation of Bangladesh arranged a discussion was held at Collectorate Conference Room on Thursday morning.

Deputy Commissioner in Kishoreganj Md. Abul Kalam Azad as chief guest and Police Super (SP) Mohammed Rasel Sheikh PMM (Bar), ADC (General) Rubel Mahamud as special guests while Islamic Foundation Deputy Director (DD) Mohammad Mohasin in the chair.

After the discussion, a special prayer was offered for the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for peace, progress and prosperity of the country and welfare of the Muslim Ummah
