Liza enjoying stage shows

Sania Sultana Liza, the popular artiste of this generation in the
music scene of Bangladesh, is going through a different time in her music life.

Because this is the first time she has started working as the chief judge of RTV organised music reality show titled ‘Young Star-Gola Chhere Gao- Season-2’ on September 9 using her experiences in music life.

Liza is also accompanied by her ‘Guru’ (mentor), Emon Saha, country’s one of the top music composers.

Liza is constantly facing new experiences by judging the songs of a brand new generation of artistes. However, she is not only busy with this reality show.

In the meantime, before the start of the season of the stage show, Liza is enjoying the stage shows.

In the past few days, Liza has performed in the stage shows of programmes organized by various organizations at Uttara Club in Dhaka, Jashore Cantonment, Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.

Last Saturday she performed music at a function organised at Narayanganj Police Lines.

Liza has confirmed that she will perform music at Cox’s Bazar on September 30, at Dhaka Sheraton on October 5 and Golf Garden in the capital on October 7.

While talking in this regard, Liza told this correspondent, “It’s true that as a judge, I am really enjoying listening to different artistse’ voices in ‘Young Star-Season-2’ organised by RTV.

This is a new experience in my life, a new world. We have no idea how many hundreds of good artistes there are in our country.

We just try to find them properly. Basically those who have learned the song properly, have come to know, have come to understand in such a reality show.

And stage shows are not that many. I tried to finish the shows that are there well.

I am grateful to the organizers who like to listen to my voice.”

Liza informed that she doesn’t have the time to come up with new original songs. That’s why she has no chance of releasing any new original songs.

The last original song released in Liza’s voice was the song titled ‘Tumi Je Aamar Swadhinata’ released on Independence Day.

The song was written by Nurul Islam Manik and composed by Liza’s song maestro Anwar Hossain Anu.

The music video of the song was done by Raj Shankar Biswas, said Liza.
