2 JCD leaders arrested

Police arrested two leaders of Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal (JCD) Netrakona District Unit from Kurpar Master Bari Jam-e-mosque premises in Netrakona District Town on Monday.

The two arrested JCD leaders are General Secretary of Anik Mahbub Chowdhory and Vice President of JCD Alamgir Hussain Sumon of JCD Netrakona District Unit .

Police sources here said, police arrested them following a case filed with Netrakona Model Police Station on August 19 last under explosive substances act and special power act.

Meanwhile, leaders of BNP Netrakona District Unit including it’s President Dr. Anwarul Haque and it’s General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Hilali in separate statements issued here strongly condemned the arrest of the two JCD leaders and demanded their immediate and unconditional release.
