‘Govt to raise mango output & export by 5pc’

Agriculture Minister Dr M Abdur Razzaque said the government is planning to enhance quality mango production in the country and its export by implementing a project.

“A project titled ‘Exportable Mango Production Project’ is being implemented at 40 upazilas under 15 districts to raise mango production and export by 5 percent”, said the minister on the thirteenth instant while responding to a star-marked question which was raised by treasury bench lawmaker Dr Samil Uddin Ahmed Shimul of Chapainawabganj-1constituency tabled at the Jatiya Sangsad session, reports BSS.
