Ctg JL leader stabbed to death

A local Jubo League leader was killed in front of the Saraipara Ibtedai Madrasah of Chattogram on Sunday afternoon due to previous enmity.

The victim has been identified as Md. Hossain, 45, son of one late Nuro Mia, hailing from Saraipara, Pahartali Police Station Area of Chattogram.

Jasim Uddin, deputy commissioner (West) of Chattogram Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to the media saying that Hossain was stabbed during a quarrel around 3:00pm.

“He was later taken to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

No one has been arrested in this incident yet. “His family will take legal action against the killers,” he said.
