Two youths held with cosmetics, chocolates

The members of RAB -14 have. arrested two young men along with a large quantity of Indian cosmetics from. Durjoy square in Bhairab port town of Kishoreganj early Saturday.

According to RAB-14 in Bhairab, sources, based on tip-off, the RAB team raided Durjoy Mor area and searched a truck and seized a large quantity of Indian cosmetics and chocolate.

The estimated value of the seized goods is Tk 75 lakh.

Two were arrested during the operation, they are Fazlu Mia (26) son of Angur Mia of village Canadharpur of Dakshin Surma of Sylhet and Mamun Mia (20) son of Bachchu Mia of Wejkhali village of Sunamganj.

RAB -14 , in Bhairab, Squad Commander Mohammad Akkash Ali said that the arrested accused have been smuggling illegal Indian cosmetics, chocolates.

from the border areas of Sunamganj district for a long time and have been selling them in different parts of the country.

They are handed over to Police Station.

A case was filed in Bhairab model Police Station under section special power act in 1974.
