‘Four killed’ in wave of Russian attacks

At least one person has been killed, and several others were wounded as a Russian missile hit a police building in the city of Kryvyi Rih, according to Ukraine’s interior minister.

Russian air attacks have also killed at least three people in Kherson, Ukrainian officials say.

Russian authorities are holding local elections in annexed parts of Ukraine; Kyiv and its Western allies dismiss the votes as a sham.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russian leader Vladimir Putin was responsible for the death of the Wagner mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin, who died in a plane crash last month.

Kyiv has accused Elon Musk of indirectly allowing Russian forces to attack Ukrainian cities, after it was revealed his Starlink satellite communications interfered with a drone operation.
