The second FIFA International Friendly match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan ended in a 1-1 draw at Bashundhara Kings Arena in the capital on Thursday.
Earlier, the first FIFA International Friendly match between the hosts and the tourists ended in a goalless draw at the same venue on September 3.
The first half ended in a goalless draw.
In the 17th minute of the play, some of the players and coaches of the two teams became aggressive.
Mosaera of Afghanistan Football team was roughly charged by Bangladesh’s Sohel Rana.
Thus, the referee showed yellow card to Sohel Rana.
The coaches of the two teams were engaged in tussle.
The referee showed red card to Afghanistan’s Head Coach Abdullah and showed red card to Assistant Coach of Bangladesh Hasan Al Mamun.
Afghanistan got the lead in the 52nd minute of the match. Jabar of Afghanistan put his team ahead by a header using a corner of his teammate Umid.
Morsalin of Bangladesh equalized the margin by a placing shot from a handshaking distance of the goalkeeper using a through pass of his teammate Bishwanath Ghosh in the 62nd minute of the clash.
Morsalin scored two goals in the recently concluded SAFF Championship playing four matches.
Morsalin scored one goal in the two-match FIFA International Friendly series.
He altogether scored three goals in his international campaign.
