Mured a shining star of journalism

Mured Hossain has spread a bright light in journalism. He worked on various issues including education and environment.

He has brought the welfare of the country and people through journalism for the last 15 years. Various irregularities, problems and possibilities have been highlighted through his reporting.

Due to his accurate reporting problems have been identified and solution emerged. His writings have made it easy for the government of Bangladesh to take right decisions.

Currently, he is working as a senior reporter in Bangladesh’s leading online news portal JagonNews24.com.

Mured Hossain has been writing since his student life.

His journalistic journey went through several newspapers including Dainik Amader Somoy, Dainik Amader Arthoniti and Daily Protidiner News.

Since 2016, he has been working at Jagonews24.com. His main reporting field is education and environment.

He received the prestigious Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Best Reporting Award in 2018 for the reporting related to education.

He received various honors from the country and abroad due to the publication of various national and international reports.

There also writes many reports on corruption and irregularities.

He was praised for his skills on writing reports. Mured obtained his master’s degree in sociology from the Dhaka International University.

Mured Hossain coverd the 2023 World Climate Conference (known as COP-27) held in Egypt.

In the same year, he covered news at the CPD-56 International Conference on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Education which was organized by the United Nations and held in New York, USA.

He has travel experience in different countries of the world.
His birth place in Bangladesh’s Lalmonirhat district.

Due to his father’s job, he stayed in Dhaka since his childhood. He has studied in various reputed educational institutions of Dhaka.

He is one of the permanent members of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU), the largest organization of professional journalists in Bangladesh.

He was elected as the Executive Committee member of DRU in 2020. He is also a member of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ), the largest journalist organization in Dhaka, and a member of Rangpur Division Journalist Association.

Apart from this, he is a member of the ‘Education Reporters Association of Bangladesh (ERAB), an organization of journalists working on education.

He served in the executive committee of the ERAB for two terms. He was also serving as a band manager of an international organization called ‘XYZ’ cloud server in Bangladesh.

Mured Hossain has not only made a name in journalism but also as a financially sound person. Currently he is staying in New York, USA.
