He is the Chairman of Rahmat Spinning Mills Limited, and Managing Director of Rahmat Sweaters (BD) Limited, Belkuchi Spinning Mills Limited and Logos Apparels Limited.

Amir Hamza earned his B.B.A degree from the Cambridge College, Australia.

He started his business career joining his family business after completion of his higher education.
