Tree plantation program at Rangpur

In order to prevent climate change, to deal with natural disasters and keep future generations healthy, a voluntary socio-cultural and sports organization ‘Banglar Chokh’ has organized a tree plantation program and distributed fruit, forest, medicinal tree and flower saplings among 310 families in Tajhat Dimla area of Mahiganj police station.
‘Bengal Ckokh’ central parliament president Tanbir Hossain Ashrafi presided over the tree planting program as chief guest, Deputy Police Commissioner of Rangpur Metropolitan Police Abu Bakar Siddique, Rangpur Government College Zoology Department Head, Dr Md. Babul Hossain, General Secretary of Central Parliament of Bengal, Mahmudun Nabi Babul.
Md. Omar Farooq, Md. Chan Miah, director, Md. Dulal Miah, Md. Ahidul Miah and others were present.
On the occasion of the 16th anniversary and 17th anniversary of Banglar Chokh, the organization will distribute about 5,000 forest, fruit, medicinal and flower tree seedlings in the northern region including Rangpur by on October 10, 2023.
