SCB delegation left Dhaka to attend ASA, GSA meetings

A four member delegation of the Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) led by its Chairman Md Rezaul Karim on Sunday left Dhaka to attend the Asian Shippers’ Alliance (ASA) and Global Shippers’ Alliance (GSA) annual meeting in Malaysia.

The two meetings organized by Malaysian National Shippers’ Council (MNSC) are scheduled to be held on September 4 to 6 at One World Hotel at Petaling Jaya in the country.

The meeting will discuss on Manifesto, bill of cargo rights; update on maritime transport and airfreight and trade facilitation, relation with the International Road Transport Union (IRU) and follow up on the charter, developments on digitalization & sustainability and expansion of ASA and GSA Membership.
