Scholarship, sewing machines, certificates of trainees distributed in Moulvibazar

Moulvibazar Zilla Parisha has organised one-time scholarships for students, sewing machines were distributed to women and certificates were distributed among computer trainees marking the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the mournful month of August at Zilla Shilpakala Academy Auditorium on Saturday .

Awami League Presidium Member and former state minister Jahangir Kabir Nanak spoke as the Chief Guest in the meeting presided over by Chairman Alhaj Misbahur Rahman.

Member of Parliament for Moulvibazar-3 Constituency Nesar Ahmad, Acting Deputy Commissioner Abdul Haque, Superintendent of Police Md. Manjur Rahman PPM (Bar), Municipal Mayor Md. Fazlur Rahman, Sadar Upazila Chairman Md. Kamal Hossain was present as special guests.

Mallika Dey, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad and Deputy Director of Local Government, gave the welcome address at the beginning of the program.
