Indo-Pak battle today

Reigning champions India Cricket team will face their arch rivals Pakistan Cricket team in their Group-A match of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Sri Lanka today.

The high-voltage match will start at 3.30pm (Bangladesh Standard Time).

Private satellite sports channel of Bangladesh T Sports, private satellite channel of Bangladesh GTV, international sports channel Star Sports will telecast the match live.

Pakistan made a formidable start as they defeated Nepal by 238 runs in their inaugural Group-A match of the Asia Cup at Multan in Pakistan on August 30.

On the other hand, It will be India’s first Group-A match.

Before today’s match, Pakistan and India faced each other in 132 One Day International (ODI) matches. Of them, Pakistan recorded 73 victories, while India won 55 ODI matches and rest of the four matches ended without any result.

But in Asia Cup, India and Pakistan faced each other in 13 occasions. Of them, India posted seven victories, while Pakistan registered five victories and rest of the one match ended without any result.

Pakistani bowler Shadab Khan said, ” Virat Kohli is such kind of batter, who performed extremely well in the last match against our superb bowling attack in the last World Cup.

I think no batter can show such kind of display against our bowling attack.

He can perform well in any format and any competition.”

Former legend cricket all-rounder Ravi Shastri highly praised the performance of Babar Azam of Pakistan.

He said, ” Babar Azam can make century, which innings could be 30-run or 40-run innings.”

Ravi said, ” I think India are the favourites of the tomorrow’s match. After 2011, Indian are the strongest team now.

They have an experienced captain (Rohit Sharma) and he knows what to do in any circumstances. India have to present their best to win tomorrow’s match.”
