‘Govt determined to improve rail communication’

Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon said the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is determined to improve rail communication across the country.

“To ensure overall development of rail communication, the government created the Railway Ministry in 2011.

As part of the development, a separate rail bridge is being constructed over Jamuna river, adjacent to Bangabandhu Bridge to make the rail journey popular and comfortable”, he also said.

The minister said this while addressing an inaugural function of resumption of “Ramsagor Express Train” on the Bonarpara-Panchagarh route at Bonarpara Station under Saghata upazila as the chief guest, reports BSS.
