US envoy meets DMP boss

US Ambassador to Dhaka Peter Haas on Wednesday held a meeting with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Khandaker Golam Farooq at the latter’s office in the city. 

During the courtesy meeting, various issues including recent militant operations, arrests and law and order in the capital were discussed.

The officials expressed the hope that the friendship and mutual cooperation between the two countries will increase in future.

At that time, senior officials of DMP and related officials of the US Embassy in Dhaka were present.
