University Putra Malaysia delegation visits BARI

A delegation of Four members of the University Putra Malaysia visited Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute on Wednesday.

BARI scientists and officers welcomed delegation at the the institute. BARI Director General Dr. Debasish Sarker gave a welcome address and brief PowerPoint presentation on the activities and achievements of BARI at his Conference Room.

Director (Research) Dr. Md. Abdullah Yousuf Akhond, Director (Oilseed Research) Dr. Md. Tariqul Islam, Director (Tuber Crops Research Center) Dr. Sohela Akhter, Chief Scientific Officer, Fruits Division of HRC, Dr. Babul Chandra Sarker; Chief Scientific Officer of Tuber Crops Research Center Dr. Md. Monirul Islam; Chief Scientific Officer of Training and Communication Wing Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed; Chief Scientific Officer (Acting), Vegetable Division of HRC, Dr. A K M Quamruzzaman and other senior scientists were present on the occasion.

The programme was coordinated by Dr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Senior Scientific Officer of Training and Communication Wing.
