Bangladesh Press Council holds doa mahfil for Bangabandhu

Bangladesh Press Council on Monday held a discussion and doa mahfil marking the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-2023.

Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Md Nizamul Haque Nasim presided over the discussion while its secretary (additional secretary) Shyamol Chandra Karmakar conducted it, said a press release.

Members of Bangladesh Press Council- Awami League Advisory Council member Muzaffar Hossain Paltu, Editor of the Daily Observer Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, renowned poet and Director General of Bangla Academy Muhammad Nurul Huda, former BFUJ president Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Editor and Publisher of Daily Jatiya Arthaneeti MG Kibria Chowdhury and BFUJ Executive Committee member Dr Utpal Kumar Sarkar also spoke at the meet as special guests.
