Domestic worker killed in Dhanmondi

Police recovered the body of an eight-year-old domestic worker from a house in Kalabagan area of the capital.

Her body was recovered on Saturday afternoon.

Kalabagan Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Babul Hossain confirmed this information to the media on Sunday.

SI Babul said, police went to the spot after receiving news that the body of a domestic worker was lying in a house on Bhooter Gali.

Seeing the door of the house closed, a locksmith was called in to open the lock.

After that the police entered the house and recovered the body.

The body bore several marks of injury on different parts.

The owner of house Sathi Parveen is absconding since the incident.

Initially, it is believed that he fled after choking the child to death.

However, police could not immediately identify the child.
