BCL grand to hold rally in Dhaka

The Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of ruling Awami League, is preparing to hold its biggest-ever gathering at Suhrawardi Udyan in the capital on September 1 ahead of the National Election.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will join the assembly as the chief guest.
The BCL announced that they are taking preparations to gather huge at least 5lakh students in remembrance of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib.
Saddam Hussain, President of Chhatra League, announced this at a press conference held at Dhaka University’s (DU) Madhur Canteen on Saturday.
Describing the purpose of the student rally, Saddam said, “The rally will be an ultimatum for BNP-Jamaat, the eternal enemy of this country and people, war criminal, and militant-terrorist.
From this rally, the students of the country will express their ultimate disbelief against this anti-national force.”
BCL General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan, DU unit President Mazharul Kabir Shayan, General Secretary Tanvir Hasan Saikat and leaders and activists of various unit were present in the press conference.
