3 members of robber gang arrested

The Police have arrested three members of river robbers’ gang from Kamalpore area in Azmiriganj upazila of Habiganj early Thursday.

The arrested are kamal Hossion (37) son of Dhanu Miah, Abu Bakker,(22( son of Aziz Miah and kabir Hossion ( Keramath ( 32 son of Modhu. Miah in kamalpore village of Azmiriganj haor upazila.

The Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Ops) in Kishoreganj Md. Al- Amin said that, a gang of river robbers was robbery on August, 11, 2023 at katkhal in Mitamoion haor upazila of Kishoreganj night.

They looting some businessmen money taka 269550 at gun point.
