HOOD gives sewing machines to women at Sadarpur

Members of Humanitarian Organisation for Old and Distressed (HOOD), a non-profitable organization today distributed 10 sewing machines, wheelchairs and cash to women at Sadarpur here.
“We have handed over 10 sewing machines and kits to rural women in Sadarpur upazila area as part of our campaign to stand beside extreme poor across the country,” said president of HOOD Professor Dr Md Nazrul Hossain Titu.
Addressing a function at Narikelbaria union under Sadarpur upazila, he said the HOOD provided sewing machines, kits, wheelchair and cash to some needy people.
Local Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Ahsan Mahmood Rassel, HOOD General Secretary Engineer Md Hasan Ahmed Khan Sajal, assistant secretary Engineer Gholam Mohammed Noble, Deputy Secretary of commerce ministry Md Sayed Ali, Md Alamgir Hossain, Engineer Rashek Ahmed, Diara Narikelbaria Union Parisad Chairman Md Nasir Sardar and Akarchar Union Chairman Md Aslam Bepary joined the distribution ceremony.
