Shakib Al Hasan arrives at the SBNCS to join practice

Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan arrived at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday.

Shakib discussed with his teammates at the ‘Home of Cricket’ in a meeting.

Head Coach of Bangladesh Cricket team Chandika Hathurusingha and the members of the Bangladesh Team Management were also present in the meeting.

Later, Shakib joined the practice session at the SBNCS.

Shakib participated in the Global T20 League in Canada and the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Cricket recently.

Shakib Al Hasan showed a satisfactory performance in those cricket meets.

Shakib also spoke to Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah Riyad, though Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah Riyad were not included in the 17-member Bangladesh Cricket squad for the upcoming Asia Cup Cricket, which is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka and Pakistan from August 30.

Shakib Al Hasan inaugurated his jewelry shop in Dubai recently.

After that he came to Dhaka and then went to Barishal to take part in a social welfare programme.

Later, the cricketers of Bangladesh took part in a practice match after splitting into two teams.

The practice match was held at the SBNCS under flood light.
