Shakib distributes medicine in Barishal

Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan arrived in Barishal on Tuesday.

He returned to Dhaka from Dubai and then landed Gaurnadi Upazila of Barishal.

Shakib did not go there to take part in cricket competitions or participate in any activities related to cricket.

He was invited by expatriate of London Barrister Monir Hossain.

Shakib went to Gaurnadi to take part in the social welfare activities at Alhaj Noor Mohammad Munshi Hospital.

Shakib distributed medicine without any cost to the poor people and also took part in the blood donation programme.

Shakib landed Gaurnadi Government Pilot Secondary Ground by helicopter.

The all kind of people of Barishal welcomed him.

To see the favourite cricketer, tens of thousands cricket fans of Shakib Al Hasan gathered there.

Shakib waved his hands to the people of Barishal when Shakib was staying on the 1st floor of the hospital.

Actor Nirob and makeup artiste Selina Monir were present with him among others.

Then Shakib spoke to the journalists.

Shakib said, ” My dream is to clinch Asia Cup and then to win World Cup.

Then I see rest of my target.”

He said, ” I have a cricket academy in Dhaka.

I want to develop that academy.

I want a good future of my cricket academy.”

The southpaw said, ” I feel good to come here.

I have not plenty of time to spend time with the general people.

I feel really good to join the great social activities.

I could not come here as there is no international cricket match held here.”
