Road, drainage activity inaugurated in Mymensingh

Mayor Md. Ekramul HaqueTitu inaugurated the construction work of road and drain worth about 10 crore takas in Ward No. 1 of Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) on Saturday.

The total length of these roads and drains is about 6.5 km and 4 km respectively.

These works include DholadiaGalganda School to Bepari Bari, Khagdahar ACC Office to Heera Doctor’s House, Taltala Madrasa Rosh to Mintu Sahib’s House, Saleha Market to Beri Dam, Khagdahar Tangail Road to MathparBeri Dam, Subedar House to Galganda. Inauguration of about 8 more works including construction of road and drain from Dholadia SP Hights to Siddique Mia’s house till Masjid.

During the inauguration, the mayor said that the quality of work should be ensured and the work should be completed quickly to ensure sustainable development.

It should be ensured that people can benefit from these roads and drains built with people’s money for many years.

At this time, the mayor instructed MCC engineers to play a responsible role in ensuring the quality of the work.

He said that no engineer or contractor will be exempted if any complaint regarding the quality of work is proved.

At this time, Ward No. 01 Councilor Md. AsaduzzamanBabu, Ward No. 02 Councilor Ghulam RafiqDudu, Ward No. 30 Councilor Abul Bashar, 1, 2, 3 Reserved Constituency Councilor Supervising Engineer Md. ZahurulHaque, Executive Engineer Md. Mamunur Rashid, local political leaders others were present.
