Promising batter Tanzid Hasan Tamim said, ” If fate favours us, we shall win World Cup.”
Bangladesh Cricket squad took part in their practice sessions at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday. After the training session, youngster Tanzid Hasan Tamim spoke to the newsmen.
It may be mentioned that Shoriful Islam, Mahmudul Hasan, Shamim Hossain, Parvez Hossain and Towhid Hridoy have been included in the Bangladesh Cricket squad.

Then, Tanzid Hasan Tamim has been called in the Bangladesh Cricket squad by the selectors of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
All of them were the members of the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket team, which clinched the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2020.

The youngsters now want to achieve the upcoming ICC World Cup Trophy.
Tanzid Hasan said, ” It is now past, which we earned. Now we want to clinch the ICC World Cup. May we play in the ACC Asia Cup but originally our main goal is to win the World Cup. We shall try this time to clinch the World Cup.”
Tanzid is confident as he has been called by the BCB for the Bangladesh Cricket squad. Hasan said, ” Thanks to the Almighty that I have been included in Bangladesh Cricket squad. Besides, I have got a chance to take part in the Asia Cup.

I played some big tournaments with my senior teammates. We played some domestic cricket competitions, BCB Presidents Cup and the other tournaments. I enjoyed to compete those cricket meets with my senior teammates.”
Tanzid Hasan Tamim is a noted batter as he played aggressive cricket in the outgoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL). He played for Brothers Union in 11 matches of DPL. He scored 474 runs in that cricket competition. He struck two centuries and one half-century. His strike rate was 93.30.
Tanzid played for Bangladesh A Cricket team in the recently concluded ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup, which was held in Sri Lanka recently.

Tanzid scored 179 runs playing four matches. He struck three half-centuries. His strike rate was 116.99.
Tanzid is very positive about his approach. He does not think that if he can play his as usual performance in the upcoming gala cricket meets. He said, ” I don’t think, which bowler is bowling against me. I try to play after watching the delivery of a bowler.

I always try to show positive batting display. Some of cricket critics say that I play aggressive cricket. But actually I try to play my as usual batting. I believe on my power and always try to play positive batting.”
Tanzid said, ” I become a batter after watching the batting of Tamim Iqbal from my childhood.

I have got inspiration as there is a similarity with his name and my name. He is our idol. I have tried to learn batting after watching his performance. If I get chance, I always speak to him to develop my batting.”
