BFF increases salary of female booters

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has increased the salary of the 31 female booters.

After winning the SAFF Women’s Championship, the members of Bangladesh Women’s Football team have demanded to raise their salary.

The SAFF Women’s Championship is the most prestigious football meet for the female booters of South Asian region.

The Bangladesh Women’s Football team and the BFF signed the contract at the conference room of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Wednesday.

The allotted time of the agreements are for six months.

The 31 female booters signed agreements with BFF.

Of them, 15 footballers will get monthly Taka 50 thousand each, 10 footballers will get Taka 30 thousand each, six booters will get Taka 15 thousand to Taka 20 thousand each.

After six months, the contract between BFF and the female booters will be renewed.

Besides, the female booters will get increased match fees and also increased facilities.

After the agreements, President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Salahuddin said, ” We have some sponsors and also we have a fund, which is provided by FIFA. They will manage the money.”

Salahuddin said, ” We could not give them Eid bonuses because there is no system in the football world to give bonuses of Eid, Christmas or any other festivals.”

He said, ” I hope they will perform well.

If they can show outstanding performance in the international football competitions, they will get more than five times this salary.

If I cannot give it, the other president of BFF will give.”

Chairperson of the Women’s Wing of the BFF Mahfuza Akter Kiron said, ” After the agreements, I hope the female booters will show spectacular performance in the future football meets.”

It is noteworthy that the BFF has provide all the expenditure of the female booters in the whole year as they have been taking part in the coaching camp for the year-long training camp, which has been conducted by BFF.

According to the professional financial structure, BFF can get a portion of money if a female booter signs an agreement with a club.

BFF boss said, ” We are not interested to cut a portion of money if a female booter signs an agreement with a club as the members of Bangladesh Women’s Football team and the other age group of women’s football team are the representatives of the first generation of women’s football.

They need more support.”

The female booters went to Satkhira to take part in there domestic football competition for the female booters recently.

But in that time there were no agreements with them and the BFF.

So, the BFF did not take any action against them.

But if the female booters do such kind of activities in future, BFF will take action against them as they breach the code of conduct of BFF.
